Sports PR 101 is a Sports Public Relations blog, dedicated to educating and informing fans about public and media relations in professional sports. We hope to accomplish a few things:
- Entertain, enlighten and inform our audience about how Public Relations relates and influences professional sports
- Act as a center of discussion at the crossroads of public relations, social media, and advertising
- Criticize those who deserve criticism
- Praise those worthy of praise
- Cover the stories and news that often get lost in the mainstream sports news cycle

Colin Bennett is a freelance writer based in Wisconsin. Colin was born in Chicago before moving to Milwaukee, and finally settling in Oshkosh, where he studied Radio, TV and Film and Journalism. He took over Sports PR 101 in May of 2010, and also contributes to Reviewing the Brew, A Milwaukee Brewers Blog also on the Fansided.com Network.
